2020 McLaren Vale Shiraz Viognier
The colour has a bright purple intensity, solid to the core. The nose offers a tremendous lift of spice from the Viognier. Dark blackberries are supported in the background by a careful use of oak. The palate is rich and luscious, followed by long tannins and dominating fruit.

“It’s gorgeously ripe and inviting on the nose showing black/blueberry, violet, thyme, clove and toasted nut aromas, leading to a succulent palate that’s wonderfully weighted and persistent. Silky and rounded with a lengthy satisfying finish. At its best: now to 2030.”
The Wine Front - Gary Walsh - 91 Points
“4% Viognier in the mix here. Jasmine perfume over black fruit, cherry and chocolate, a little vanilla/coconut oak. Fleshy, firm but sure tannin, meaty and savoury, slightly warm but has a good finish offering perfume and succulence. Salt and blueberry in the aftertaste. Nice.”
